Abstract As an advanced downhole instrument in drilling engineering, fluid continuous wave generator (DFCWG) has great application prospects. The large load torque is one of the key problems that hinder development DFCWG. In this paper, based on design theory rotary valve and finite element method, structure designed characteristics analyzed points out strong alternating characteristics. It pointed alternating. According to torque, "fluid-magnetic" collaborative compensation method proposed. turbine magnetic device are used compensate DC AC components respectively, designed. rationality verified by simulation. Finally, comprehensive effect method. analysis results, can effectively reduce torque. research results provide technical support for DFCWG design.
